Learn More Healing is always possible...

Rebecca Boyko

Rebecca Boyko, LICSW

My approach to therapy is multi-faceted and tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, couple and family. I believe that healing is always possible and can be found by tapping into the resources we already have inside of ourselves, but maybe never knew we had.

You can expect a patient and compassionate response from me as I introduce a variety of tools to help you access your own inner resources and to help you build the confidence and courage to use them. Together, we will utilize mindfulness, curiosity, creativity and a sense of humor along with evidence-based therapeutic approaches to help you discover and reveal your own unique path towards healing for yourself, your relationships and ultimately your life.

My specialty is trauma therapy for individuals, couples and families. I help people find healing not only from what did happen that should have never happened, but also from what didn’t happen that needed to happen, and a myriad of other sources of suffering which result in you feeling baffled, powerless, dejected, guilt-ridden, lost and anxious.

Creating a safe and comfortable atmosphere for you is my initial goal. I am a therapist who will work at your pace, even if you are someone who enters therapy feeling unsure of the work we can accomplish. It’s important to build trust and identify a pace that feels balanced so you feel supported, heard and challenged as we work together. I will ask for and be open to feedback in the process as to how you feel our therapy is going – what we have prioritized to work through and if/how the tools introduced are helping. I am invested in you – we are on this journey together, and you do not have to suffer alone.

It’s in everyone of us
To be wise,
Find your heart
Open up both your eyes,
We can all know everything
Without ever knowing why,
It’s in everyone of us
By and by

It’s in everyone of us
I just remembered
It’s like I been sleeping for years,
I’m not awake as I can be
But my seeing is better,
I can see
Through the tears,
I’ve been realizing that,
I bought this ticket
And watching only half of the show,
There is scenery and lights
And a cast of thousands,
Who all know
What I know,
And it’s good
That it’s so

It’s in everyone of us
To be wise
Find your heart
Open up both your eyes,
We can all know everything
Without ever knowing why,
It’s in everyone of us
By and by
